Es handelt sich dabei um den dritten Band einer Romanreihe von Autor Rick Yancey und diesmal wird der Geier, im Gegensatz zum ersten Roman, auch als Zeichner der Illustrationen im Buch genannt. Wie bei den Vorg\u00e4ngerb\u00fcchern sieht der Illustrationsstil sehr nach Schabkartontechnik aus. Aber der Geier ist ja nicht bekloppt und hantiert mit riesigen schwarzen Schabkartons und Kratzwerkzeugen herum. Nein, er hat die Illustrationen auf Grundlage von Handskizzen komplett digital gezaubert.
